Attendance Protocols

Leave Intimation
When a pupil is absent from school, a note stating the reason for absence must be entered in the specified column of the Student’s Handbook by the parent or guardian.

Compulsory Attendance
Attendance is mandatory on the last working day before a vacation and on the reopening day. A penalty of ₹100 per day will be levied. Extended holiday requests will not be considered.

Prior Permission
Leave must be obtained in advance except in unforeseen circumstances. Leave applications must reach the office/teacher on the first day. Students won't be allowed without a proper letter.

Submission Process
- • < 2 Days: To Class Teacher/Calendar.
- • > 2 Days: Addressed to Principal.
- • Parents must ensure teacher endorsement.

Medical Leave
Students applying for sick leave must submit a medical certificate along with a doctor’s prescription for verification by the school authorities.

Late Arrival & Absence
Absence without letter and habitual late coming are disciplinary offences. Repeated latecomers may not be permitted to attend school.

Unauthorized Absence
5+ days attracts a ₹300 penalty. 10+ days without permission may result in removal from the school rolls.

Leaving During Hours
Permission required from Principal in person. Permitted only when accompanied by parents or guardians.

Minimum Requirement
Maintain at least 85% attendance. Failure may affect promotion. No leave granted during examinations.
